newbie here, interesting forum, at the weekend I bought a Sureweld Model 1400 Arc ?? welder.
I’m hoping to use it to “learn” on in the home workshop environment, nothing to serious, but nevertheless a useful additional string to my bow.
Does anyone know anything much or have any information about these welders please?

anything under 2mm on stick takes a fair ild hand ,, 3mm is a good starting point for most folk, and you wont sicken your self learning either , Ive done 1mm stainless hand rails with stick in the past , but its no fun on a building site. Some angle makes for more interesting practice , you can make things even if its just abstract shapes , but padding beads soon gets tedious , either way have fun thats the secret
    Practice and Patience.
