got the steel up and the trolley made for the hoist. bearing place though only had 3 10mmx30 bearings so no lifting till i have got the last one fitted. Bit of brick work to fill in tomorrow then all finished

managed to use the hoist to get it up by bolting the hoist to the steel frame i have with ballast and used a snatch block from the ceiling

here's the only photo i have so far will take some more for got to take photo's during job as was busy trying to stop big bits of steel from crashing down was good fun though. will also be tidying up the electrics

How have you held the ends up?

Looks a nice job can't see a PAT test sticker tho'

new kit less than 12 months old need to get pat tester calibrated its been 5 years since it was last done

got the ends all pointed up and replaced the wooden shim with something more substantial going to double the besarings up and use longer bolts there is a bit to much side play but it wont come off

Make sure you properly load test it like ours...
At least you have a hoist now. Our gantry is still laying on the floor waiting for someone to re-erect it.
