I've got a Gilera Nordwest,good looking bike and goes well but has typical Italian electrics, riding it back home after buying it the weather took a turn for the worse and it chucked it down, so the electrics went on strike hoping for better weather. What it got was a liberal dousing with a couple of small cans of WD40 from a petrol station at about 3 times the price of what the high street charges. Protection from water ingress doesn't seem to have been on the design brief.
