New to the forum and loosing my hair rapidly because of my Supermig 195.
I never had a days problem with my supermig 195, but with that said, it hadnt done a huge amount of work.
Recently I went to use it and when I switched it on the wire started feeding, gas flowing and the trigger had no affect on it.
I took the machine apart and noticed some moisture on the board (how are these not sealed or even varnished very well?). So removed it and cleaned it with contact cleaner and let it dry for a few days.
When I assembled the machine again and switched it on I thought the problem was solved until I pulled the trigger and once again the wire fed out and gas flowed with no way to stop apart from turning the power off.
I still needed the machine so ended up welding with one hand and operating the stitch/delay (not sure of the actual term) knob to start and stop the machine.
Having looked online and seen the cost of a new board, I was hoping someone might be able to offer some advise.
Thanks in advance, sorry if I am missing any vital or obvious information from my post.
Frank.
