Hi all, I'm looking at a new unit on a farm that'll be a big improvement on my current unit, but there's still some lumps & bumps to the yard.
I've been considering buying a forklift but haven't ruled out a manual forklift/stacker for sake of unloading steel lorries etc.
What sort of lifting equipment would be ok on ground like this?
I have a crappy Clarke 1 ton engine crane which I think would struggle on this as the wheels are quite small. If manual forklifts/stacker is no better, then I guess I have to rule them out.
Although a 2nd hand forklift is currently affordable, I'd have to park it in my unit, so ideally whatever I use as lifting equipment would take up as little space as possible.
Cheers
