well after a long slog my globe is ready for galvanising.
I have tacked some reinforcement inside it to help with any distortion issues.
Are the tacks big enough? it's 2m in diameter and splits across the middle to fit the galv tank.
I have braced it in three dimensions.
Just finished the sucker
First tacks; I've used 30x5mm strip for reinforcement it splits in two along this axis
bolts is just to help with layout but may come i handy when setting it all up after galv
next job is to fit bases for the feet of the dragon going on top to stand on then take it to bits and send it away.
Tacks are all done on one side so they should snap off under compression by being bent outwards
