Christmas is coming up and I might find some time to get on with my buggy project, but I'm also conscious that I need to order tools and materials now to get here on time.
I gave up my Lincoln Tig welder years ago. Even as a second hand buy it was an expensive asset, and I felt guilty it sitting there rarely getting used, my Mig was seeing all the action.
I mainly need the Tig to weld up my buggy 50 x 2mm steel tube. My bro wants to share it with me to do various aluminium based projects. I doubt it will get used too much but if I buy budget this time then that's ok.
I've started looking through older threads to find recommendations and found the Sherman 206P was the recommended product a year ago. Is this still the recommendation? Budget can stretch to £650 if you think that extra £150 will take me to another product level.
Thank you.
