Having a few problems getting my fabricator 320 to cleanly and consistently strike an arc and lay a small tack weld without stuttering like crazy. Happens on cold starts and stutters that much it will take up to 3-5 seconds before it starts welding. steel is clean enough, i do get this loads of times with other welders but usually turning down the wire speed helps... but on this machine if i turn it down any more i lose that nice spatter free weld.
Is fine when on voltage setting 5 (ideal for 6mm) but trying to start welds on setting 4 on 3 mm angle is a nightmare.
Using 0.8mm Wire, burn back is set to default, no other settings to change. New machine, so everything else should be fine.
