well langy if you care to go back to my original post you can read what I asked about .
I think I wrote any advice will be good !!!!
I never said bad advice would be shunned upon and reply to them in a bad way.
now please langy, point out the 2 correct posters and I will thank them .
but I will repeat, the weight on the drill handle is what I needed to know, i had already been given a few different opinions on
what type of drill bit, also , been told i would be drilling too fast by someone who did not notice i would be drilling at 320rpm.
that was a very wrong presumption due to someone not reading the original post.
some things i will have to rely on peoples advice and some things i wait to see if a differing opinion comes along.
surely i would be a fool to just ask a question and then go by the first bit of advice given (not knowing if its good or bad )and balls up the whole project ?
not that the first person on this topic was wrong. it was just a figure of speech.
But you asked a question nobody can really answer on a forum, I can't see anybody being able to tell you to put X amount of pressure on the drill, how would you measure it !!!
