Had I originally planned to fit an engine to a Wren I might have made access a bit easier or a removable subframe!

I got a bit more done on my polisher guard today. I'm still using stuff I have squirrelled away, today's bits were some M4 Hank rivets I got in 1984ish. You can see in this photo the state of the stainless sheet. It was used as strapping protectors on a project that came in to a company I worked for (so long ago I can't remember where or what). I couldn't see it going in the skip though.
I've totally enclosed the belt but will leave the bottom open.

Finished the Welding portion of my latest project. New fish tank on order and the Mrs didnt like the stand you can buy for it so found a website that does custom metal frame for tanks and for some reason they put the drawings for the contruction of them on the website so a few lengths of box section later and I just now need to get some veneered Plywood and a table top to clad it before the tank arrives.

That makes it a bit more interesting.
Hollowness appears to go into the buttress roots too
Thinking if the rot was jetwashed away and treated, the inside edge could make some kind of feature.
All my kit got soaked so going back on a dry day to tidy up.

A replacement for a missing fixing in a bed frame. Can't complain too much, I got given it for free.
Just happened to have some 16mm brass bar. All done inside an hour, which is quicker than I could have driven to the nearest town, find nobody had any in stock, and back again.

Finally after 5 years I got around to putting the lid on the pressure washer.
In my defence there was some alignment issues to sort out to get the CAT pump I line with the new motor. Spent ages measuring stuff, turning down the motor flange to make some angle brackets fit to keep everything straight then found if I welded a flat plate across the handles it provided the necessary height with no faffing other than trying to get the four M6 bolts through the bottom aligned properly.
I even decided to paint the frame, sort of.
But I have saved some weight... This was the old temporary bodge to align things.
