I put up the identical shelter a couple of years ago for a friend who was having some physical issues and couldn't help. It wasn't the easiest to do by myself, but I got it up. His previous temporary garage had blown loose in the wind and tumbled over onto a neighbour's property. When I put this one up, I used 8 or 10 corkscrew-type ground stakes, so it wasn't going anywhere. All that work, and the following week he put his house up for sale. Oh, well...
9x9 was hard enough. ( we had one in the Scouts)Sounds like none of you have ever put up a 12 x 12 !

They are both the same breed. The red one is convertible, the project is a saloon which used to look like this...

I didn't think 12x12's came in the singular. "put up a 12x12".Sounds like none of you have ever put up a 12 x 12 !
They always seemed to be in the plural whenever I was involved.

First proper hedge job with the Makita UH006, very very pleased with this hedger, its very light. Used one small 2.5Ah battery.
Privet, she wanted it reduced hard as it was taller than her, and thined in width, so the brown was unavoidable - it'll grow back. Removed the dead stem.
I did hit the metal gate post and put a tiny ding on the new blade
Pebble gardens are a real pain to clear up if you forget the leaf blower! I dont usually take my own as the other guys will have one. Going back to blow it.
Then an oak stump to cut up. The pictures I saw made it look small but this was big, over a meter dia at base and several meters long.
Im told it blew down in december, so as far as windblown go, quite disapointing, no tension left and the rootplate just sat there.
Oct it looked like this on streetview. Ivy covered, pollarded monster.
Oak rots slowly but this was gone. Roots were crumbly and the reason is kretzmaria, looks like charcoal and doesnt stand out as a fungus.

Yes we should, no its very rare in that I never seen anyone do it. . Spores are extremely tiny and generally quite resistant to chemicals so I have doubts it would do much. I do get the bar off and give it a general clean with a brush after each job (but not each tree on a site)
This big saw is only for removals so the chance of infection very low. It would be most important on climbing saw and silky.
@8ob do your guys disinfect any kit? What would you use if it were a site requirement?

There was a bit of this going on when Ash dieback was first recognised, wheel washes on exit from woodlands and kit cleaned off. The cost involved soon knocked that on the head
