I wonder if you could "accelerate" the curing (if it's ever going to) by playing a hot air gun on it? Maybe even heat the metal up. Again a maybe but I wonder if you could drill / poke a hole and inject new resin to push out the unset stuff?

That was what I was thinking, I’m going to take the heat gun with me next week, if that doesn’t work I think I’ll cut the rail off, clean out and replace the resin and weld it up again.

I put some handrails up in pretty cold weather a year or 2 ago. Had to use a heatgun and a bit of steel sheet to contain the heat around the resin area.

Milled the toolholder flat yesterday and ready for a lump to be welded on to make a biggger one.
Broaching. Need to weld some bar on and make up a pair of 4mm keys, handle for milling jig.
Two more battery holders to give more shelf space. From a spare battery adaptor.

I'm still working on the plastics , and already restored the gearbox.

I made one up but then when I came to get tyres the local guy could supply and fit for as cheap as I could buy tyres online so I never used it.... purchased a cheapo duck head off eBay and welded some scrap pieces together to help with tyre changes. My knees and back are already happy

A small square. I really don't need any more squares: I've got loads of them. Nevertheless I thought it would be a quick and interesting project. I had never cut a bridle joint before and this seemed like a perfectly reasonable project to try one out on. I'm very happy to say that it appears to be square (based on the draw a line and flip it test).

Mostly did some TIG brazing infill on a BSA C.15 inner left hand side cover, which worked out nicely.
That, and set up an A.10 Super Rocket cylinder barrel on the Bridgeport for some accurately perpendicular helicoiling operations tomorrow...

Spark plug port welded on, only genuine aircraft part on this build lol. Not the prettiest weld but crap positioning so used the excess material on the nut as filler/heat sink for the 2mm wall and then gave it a pass with filler for strength once I could see what I was doing.
It's air tight and that's all that matters.
