A big fnerkin puller.
Well actually credit to @8ob for machining the round to sit in the liner. Thank you to @hotponyshoes for the round but we didn't use it in the end. Bob saw it and said "I'm scared... It's shiny, I don't like shiny steel". Well he chucked it in the lathe and I think we managed 5 thou for about 1/2" and succeeded in writing off a carbide tip and generating mostly sparks. So we found a lump sat on @8ob's workshop floor that was suitably rusty and used that instead.
So a piece of 150x150 box was cut and I just about managed to drill through a 30mm plate (had a large enough step drill) to make a top for it and then cue some sweat and eventually the liner started to move. Not too bad for a coarse thread in all honesty, about an inch of this liner done. Another 4" to go and then another 3 liners after this...
