Didnt make this little chap, but delivered him, spent all day trying to get him to stand and feed. Tubed 150mls of goat colostrum into him. Held him while hes had a plasma transfusion, and managed to get him to latch to his mum, but he's still not able to actually get up. So Ill be lifting him to mum every 2 hours through the night!

Very rewarding though despite the grief.

It can be if they make it. This one Im not so sure. Think we‘re missing something, normally they start to pick up if you can get them feeding. And mother seems to have less milk. So been in the drugs fridge and hopefully have injected both with whatll help.

Been looking for ball mounts for ages but not seen one heavy enough.

Those ram ball mounts are pretty hefty (as long as you don't get cheapos) - we use them for the GPS unit in the tractors and it's a fair chunk of weight bouncing around without suspension, never any problems

I tilted a cab over with one wedge that I couldn't see, I have no idea how it didn't break the glass. They are solid

I didn’t realise they were sized. I’ve got a Panasonic toughbook which is about 2kg. Heavier than your GPS i take it?

1" balls The GPS is only 1kg (its a chonk of aluminium casing for a small screen) but installed in tractor cabs with no suspension, so it has to resist some quite violent forces.

That's fine. I always limited my setup to around 2.5A maximum. Usually ran it closer to 1A. Nice & steady is best.

I've ran it around 40A before, don't think it works any better but it gets nice and warm.

I find more volts rather than more amps in better,
I use a 40 amp 36v battery charger from an old dc genie lift cherry picker thing
