Then I primed it (I wanted to galv it but just couldn't justify the cost):
Painted it, and yes, I know what you're thinking, what a lovely colour! No?
And fitted a top!
I need to make a shelf for it and put a sheet of something on the top before bolting the PIllar drill and Milling machine to it.
Unfortunately that is unlikely to be next week now as Mrs RWD is sending me off to the Black Country Museum (built on the site of the old Denbigh Factory as I understand it) and Oldfield Forge for a day of Smithing (can't wait!).
Stuff you have made today
Test on a piece of anodised aluminium of the engraving I will hopefully do on the top clamps I am making (currently being anodised) CRF letters are 8mm high, 1100 is 3mm, came out better than I thought it would.
