I had to clean a few threads affected by weld problem it was 2 1/4 x28 unf. Called Tracy tools to see how much and they very kindly loaned me one.Not me (I wish) but a company I deal with in NZ. Made a 3.5" tap to repair a thread on site:

Made catflap for the cat, it pivots on a couple of 2.5mm drill bits. Had to put on the rubber buffers to stop it slamming shut on her tail.

Yet another cheapo bodge . Prototype heating duct made from cardboard , old cooling fan from redundant PC , 12 v charger from box of surplus bits. It works well diverting a gentle flow to the floor. Have ordered a length of Ally concertina tubing before anyone suggests it will self ignite.

Very temporary ,Flu pipe on it's way. The stove has been in and out so many times this week I'm surprised I haven't fitted casters. Last week.
Holder for the spade bits & 3 brass end caps, (original use unknown. I've had them knocking around for donkeys), for storing odds & sods in.
Makes life so much easier for things like that when you finally manage to get runout down to minimal levels on a pillar drill.

Yesterday - i made some progress on the rotary table. Fitted the motor and tried it out with the stepper driver and the Ward controller. I need to get an enclosure for it now.
The Ward controller is a really nice bit of kit. I still kinda wish I used the 4th axis controller in the Centroid mill, but it's so old... Fusion360 doesn't have a Centroid 4th axis post and the built-in conversational software can't use it. I figured that it would be easier just keeping it as a standalone table.
I've also modifed the original base - milled the side slots off and drilled/counterbored 4 more holes. This will bolt to a big lump of steel with holding bolt holes, and a keyed slot for easy setups.
