The rafters arent huge and not big ridge plates. We had a SE take a look over it, I can't remember the figures, but wasn't really worth the cost against the capacity. I came up with the 152uc spreader, and ran it past him again, adding that, he was happy to slap a 2tonne stamp on it..
We are of a size where it has to be all done legit, and will use it to lift a lot of moneys worth too.

It remains to clean out the dirt and petrified oil snot inside the chest. And coat 2K epoxy primer.
The summer has been hot...
Original primer and paint, very hard. Getting to the dents and scratches on the steel is worth the sweat. There are two more chests ahead. I'll try to clean them with hot ozone, industrial equipment will come soon. In theory, after ozone will remain dust.

Crude swirler vanes for the furnace nozzle, seems to have worked a treat and cut down the flame outs. Only downside is the blower struggles to get more than say 50% of the air past but you can't win it all.

The primer has been applied. Inconvenient places, painted with a roller, 1 layer. The wheels are bolted to the still sticky paint, it is inconvenient to move the chest without wheels. The castor wheels are on ball bearings and the heavy chest moves effortlessly.
A sheet of steel, 3 mm thick, stole the height of the flanging. She is wonderfully done in her own right. Losing rolled bolts and small parts, as always, is inopportune. And a place for a rubber sheet, would also steal the place. Therefore, the Raptor will be applied.
I will try to modify it with a special UHMWPE powder (I'll see how the Raptor + powder will be applied, with a roller and a brush). Is there enough fluidity? Hmm.
After the Raptor, I can cover it with duct tape and then spray paint it with hammer paint.

My furnace for melting copper: ceramic brick ribbon burner + propane + hairdryer for inflating mattresses. Smoke from heavy fuel, the locals will not approve, so gas. Judging by your photo, the metal is not warmed up to optimal fluidity or the form was cold.
