I was milling a part for the footpegs I am making. I took a peg off yesterday and measured it up and sadly the alu I had made the peg from wasn't long enough

I had thought about that but really want to make it a 1 piece so will finish this one and if it works out I will make a couple of new ones up from a single piece, it will also reduce the amount of work required by quite a bit.

Photographing food you need a stark background.
A chef once told me the huge white plate they use with just a tiny serving of food in the corner is just a frame, for the food: that is the art.

Anyway hashtag heros and facetubers want you to like or plus one the food they ate or made.
It all looks the same when it comes out the other end but they'll never show a photo of that.

I've yet to ignore/block another Member for their posts because I'm offended/annoyed/outraged/(insert alternatives here ) by them. Life's too short for that.

Today's little job: Make up a slide hammer to extract a bearing seal from a JCB 3CX front differential pinion shaft. Yesterdays efforts to remove this reluctant seal resulted in a broken 'seal remover' so time to make something a little more stout.

6 mm silver steel bent red hot into a hook, and threaded M6 into the end of a 7/16" bar the far end of which I welded a random 'bar end' as a stop. The sliding hammer being another 'bar end' drilled 1/2"
