No it’s solid as a rock there’s bracing where can’t be seen and it’s all 50mm box with 30mm heavy wall bracing

Goes well with the glass I made from the Whole Earth peanut butter jar.

Thought I'd best test it for medicinal purposes. I've either got a hernia starting or a grumbling appendix!

Edit: It could be just a pulled muscle from lugging that huge Record vice and my old MIG around yesterday I suppose. Better safe than sorry so I'll continue self medicating.

I made an idiot look bad today .
Mercedes Benz A class AMG .
He said me to put my car under a press and he started doing the fool with the throttle .
I've rev up to the limiter and released the throttle (obviously it spitted fire) .
He became white , I've closed the windows .
Launch control ( my foot ) once green I've asphalted him ,160km/h in 4th gear in less than 800 meters .
We are practically in lockdown there was nobody else than us on that road I wouldn't have did something like that if there was someone else .
And of course straight road

Back to primer to fix numerous cockups

Two more thin coats of primer

I added 1/35th black basecoat to the first, not a massive change in tint but enough to notice, if/when it needs sanding.

The front recessed bit, where I spilt paint then burnt it with heat lamp, has caused me so many problems. So, sods law, as soon as Id primered it today, a thick black hair landed in it. Not mine I dont have any! A blade got it out and another spray hid most of the damage.

While I bought new fairings, the wheels and tank were rough so, if time allows I will get it sorted. Ihavent ridden it for a couple years as, carbs are a pain when not used much.

Watch out for drivers who have done little or no driving because of Covid coming back to the roads ( Kram and all other two wheelers ) . Especially for those who tilt their heads back to squint out the bottom of their spectacles & keep their teeth in at the same time.

Parafin candle wax is brilliant for wood machines.

Easy to remove aswell unlike silicone

A guy came in today, said he had put a cylinder head for a bike into another place to bore out some sheared exhaust studs. They had bored them out right enough, and taken them from M8 to M10. He asked if I could screw in a bolt, chop it then bore and tap M8, well that wasn't happening as it would only leave about 1/4mm wall so I suggested I make him some new studs, M10 down to 8mm for the flange and then M6 for the thread, seemingly M8 nuts would be too big so it had to be m6.

He gave me a stud with a seized on nut and it was only after I had made the new studs I removed the nut and discovered the threads are M7 Won't matter and M6 nuts are easier to get so...

Anyway just used a M10 bolt and turned it down on the CNC.

Made the other day but fitted today, 3 x 2" bsp valved/flanged pumped sewage manifold on the side of sheet piling. Gut buster job, the sheet piles are 15mm thick
