Faced with the constant menace of the bike bench only moving in one axis without a fight due to 2 wheels being swivel and 2 wheels fixed i thought i would fix that today before the winter track bike project moves onto it..so fixed wheels off and made up brackets to hang another set of swivels off them plus because it would move to easy while rolling the bike up and down i also made a couple of fixed screw stands to kinda match the current ones on the other end on bench. Anyway now much easier to move about with full 360 movement when you need to put it out the way when doing other projects. Pics tell the story a bit better.

If starting the engine doesn’t get it out try running a tap into the remains then screw in a HT set screw with a nut and suitable spacer , tightening the nut to put some tension on the remains should pull them out

Most glow plugs like that have the perfect centre bore to take an M6 tap. I have a ~5" long tap just for that. Tap it, screw in a bolt and fashion a puller, ideally a "sleeve-type" that will draw the body of the glow plug inside.
Used to remove a lot of glow plugs, that was my favourite method.

Okay, not really today but over the week, my pal who has decided to take up Tig welding discovered the cost of Tungsten grinders (he is a farmer so we can all imagine the scream that went up) and he asked me to make him a nut/bush (we all know the song) with a 20mm fine pitch, he would do the rest:
It's a shower pump motor and one of the multitude of cheap "diamond" wheels. Cost? Bit of time, everything else from the scrap pile. The washers holding the disk are slightly concave in order to ensure a good grip as far out as possible.

@slim_boy_fat this is a lathe 
Today I made 8 steering rod ends from M20 Stainless screwed rod, they fit into the bronze ends I made previously. Also made the 14mm dia bushes bored out to 3/8" to secure the steering components to the outboard engines.

I notice you too have one of the Mitutoyo QuantuMikes. They are just the worst invention ever.
