What's the difference between brazing and welding with filler rod.
Just the type of rod.?

Another non fusion process. Similar to brazing; off the top of my head, I believe the key difference between the soldering and brazing process is the temperature range and fluxes used. Soldering, then hard soldering, then brazing in terms of heat used in the joint.

yep. Because it melts at a higher temp it forms a stronger joint

Got some off cuts of leather, my mums old sewing machine and made a low profile tig torch sheaf. Not perfect but I’m happy.
