A Hand Hoe.
The head is made from hard scrap offcut from a plough. The round handle socket was from the rubbish pile, brazed on.

The shaft is Pitch pine, turned down from square stock.
The hole on the top was originally from a screw hole, opened up, countersunk to take a bit of leather cord.

Well That's the plan, if the dam cat lets it goes.

And as the girls are mad busy with horses ATM I was a good lad and made supper, a bowl of tuna ,pasta sweetcorn and mayo with salad. To be washed down with some of my wine

Errr, no, you're okay....2 hours later, we have go faster ones (They're shiny, and red, that's well known to be +20bhp)

Just need to turn up some new washers for the bottom of them later.

Turns out the uppers were ******** too so whilst the material was loaded it'd be rude not to, no?

A new engine mount fell off the machine too...

I hope there's a polyurethane addiction therapy group somewhere.

How long does it take to print such a bush? Can you get varying grades of hardness (Shore?)

About an hour each, it's certainly not a fast process, the engine mount was double that at least - as for the material, there's a little variety in hardness but not much, they all tend to be fairly hard for bushes - 88 to 96 shore A - as if it's much softer than that there's feeding issues with it.
But I just vary the hardness with the geometery instead.
That engine mount for example has a small core section that's solid to resist torque reaction but the honeycomb either side softens it for twist and warp modes to keep engine vibration down - and the centre that looks solid actually has another different (3D) honeycomb inside it to allow a little lateral movement before it gets progressively harder, but it's closed either end so you can't see it.

Um plaster board back boxes plastic face plates instead of metal I hope they are wired in a ring as well lot of possible power there

ha yes they are on a ring with only a 16amp breaker too as I stuck a couple of 16amp blue sockets on the circuit too

Yep, especially as some of them are no longer available. Some of the other materials are a little sketchy for functional prints, but polyurethane is almost as good as a proper pressure-cast part - it bonds so well to itself you can never split it along a layer or line, you have to physically cut or machine it, great material for printing.

To be fair I've used plastic sockets in my garage and I haven't broken one in 16 years.

Stuff wot I made today...
First time in my life I butt-welded a 2" pipe flange onto a pipe. Just to be awkward, it wasn't the right sized pipe, of course.
Turned out nice, though. I've no doubt it would have failed every quality and pressure test in the book, but it's only to hold a bearing for a mast, so can't go anywhere.

Right then, here ye go...

Spent a bit of time with the plasma today,
First up it was a bracket to hold some sort of aerial (no idea what) and will be mounted on the rear gantry of a fishing boat. The gantry slopes aft at 70 degrees so the bracket had to be made to fix to the web on the underside of the 100mm box and them come out and up to clear the top to make room for the aerial above.

Next up was a part to fit inside a fish box so that lobsters can be placed in and kind of restrain them so that they can not fight until such time as they can be banded.
Each part slots into the others and the fit was good enough that I didn't even have to weld

Last up was an Elephant that is for my nephew, made one for the other halfs Christmas and when he saw it he loved it so....

Just have to etch prime and paint and it will end up like this hopefully.

Near the top of my project list is making a better one than my current one, from an old paper recycling box kindly provided by Highland Council. Only problem is it had a small hole in each corner which I've sealed [hopefully] with rubber grommets and some silicone sealant - a brief test and it held water, but I'm not sure how it'll stand up to prolonged use.....

Only problem is it had a small hole in each corner which I've sealed [hopefully] with rubber grommets and some silicone sealant - a brief test and it held water, but I'm not sure how it'll stand up to prolonged use.....

LOL fish boxes have quite a few holes in the bottom, need to or you would be filling with water instead of fish
