Hypertherm 125? Thought they only done about 40mm severence

Yup tis the 125 .
60mm severance according to the manual , that's why I got it as 50mm is a common enough thickness to be dealing with . I need a bigger receiver on the compressor though , it needs time to catch up haha .

yep, warmed it up and pulled it round a bit of 25mm bar

Today was varied.
First off I skimmed some hauler plates.

Next up I made 9x lobster gauges, only had 2 people wanting 2 each but decided just to make what I could get out the material which was 9. As the day went on other people came in and saw them and I only have 2 left now

I then took delivery of some stainless tube and rounds and stainless housed bearings for the next two Cheetah Cats that I will be fitting out, one arrives December(ish)

Got the 230mm dia x 16 thick bits faced off in the lathe and then bored out to 50mm dia for the shafts.

Chopped up some 50mm dia stainless and welded them in, only got two done, the other two will be tomorrow.

Also labeled my Tig consumables drawers.

And made an Alu holder for the manuals for the welder etc for the van.

Yes, 87mm exact, or as exact as I managed to measure
They are used to measure the carapace of the lobster to see if they are legal size or not.

Today,we spent a good couple of hours,adjusting the folder,now I’ve had this machine since 1993,it’s never been true end to end,so a feeder repair prompted me to attempt to rectify the situation,plus I just got determined..

They are just such a great tool, built like a tank and will fold really difficult shapes. As I have said before, I would love one of my own but I am happy I have access to one.

Made a start on this, inspired by @northwest 's thread a while ago I got the plans and decided to have a go at making one, should earn some brownie points.

Made up spacer for the blinds. Annoyed the spring loaded pin is a tighter fit than the spring! The verynears told me 10.5mm and I bored it out 10.55mm. Refitting the other end is a pain, so they can stay like that!

The new VCGT1604 inserts are good! this was mostly an excuse to try one. Better than the other two packets, no idea.

Today I made a couple of ends for the drum of a garden hose reel I'm building.
Bit over the top but the material was free and it was a good excuse to use the rolls I got from @Sammy7 a while ago.





Also used my poor man surface prep tool to get rid of the rust and mill scale.

I made a little progress on the table legs. Top plates drilled and slotted, and tacked into place.
I'm really pleased with how the slotting turned out - drilled end holes, set a guide up and used the plasma. Definitely an underused tool in my workshop.
