Made some hinge parts ready for the metal door i made, it should slow down a thief
Current one is a Blackview BV9900E, one in pic is Ulefone Armor 7E
I have had a few Blackviews over the years and found them to be great, had a couple of Ulefones and they were ok but the cameras on them were poor. Are the Blackview units still as good as they used to be?
Knocked up a side cabinet over a few lunchtimes, for my work box to put a few of the bigger bits in, like laser level, combi set etc.
Frees up a bit of drawer space, so the stuff in them can be a bit tidier.

You can get free maps through the open street map project.@Hood Is your original phone holder water proof, I am thinking of making a holder for my Garmin Drive 50 sat nav so I can use it on the bike. Currnet is an old Nuvi 1370 with Givi case, but the maps are getting really out of date now which is a shame as I prefer it to the 50!![]()
Might be an idea to go for a community care alarm:Made this triangle and bracket out of the scrap at work.
It's to go at the bottom of my dad's garden mounted low to the ground so he can use it to summon help if he were to fall again. It's one of several measures we've put in since his recent 20 hour ordeal out there.
Let me know when you're due an upgrade mate, i'll swap you for your original one still doing service 12/13 years later?!Knocked up a side cabinet over a few lunchtimes, for my work box to put a few of the bigger bits in, like laser level, combi set etc.

Aye cheers Bricol. We have that in place too . We also got him a billy big button phone where he just needs to press one button to summon a list of contacts. Ive also put a plastic box down the garden with a mylar blanket, torch ,whistle and a slack handfull of barley sugars. Small things but could be vital in a pinch.Might be an idea to go for a community care alarm:

My mum complained about hers - a waste of money for the 4 quid a week it cost . . . until she needed it . . . Press the button on pendant, or on a bracelet, even an autoalerting bracelet, triggers the alarm, if the responder on the other end cannot hear you, which if he's down the garden, they won't, so they send a responder out in a vehicle - or if they can sort of hear and there's previous, they call the ambulance anyway.
Thanks, had a quick look and think they are all aimed at off road. You can get free maps through the open street map project.

A quick guide to free OSM maps for Garmin GPS devices. - ScarletFire Cycling
Yes, you can use completely legal and FREE mapping on your Garmin Edge 800. Welcome to the OpenStreetMap, completely free maps for your GPS! The comes supplied with a "basemap" which isn't much use at all. It contains a basic routable map of major roads, but lacks detail. If you've got the money,…www.scarletfire.co.uk

Reckon it must be a bit more than that, nearer 15/16 maybe.
Love a pic for old times sake...
I can still picture some of the stickers and their locations.
Doing alright for an almost 25 year old box then!
Mines rubbish, phones great, cameras pants. The camera on that Ulefone I had seemed quite decent. Must've been some variation between models. Currently have a Doogee. Camera definitely seems good on this one. Night vision too. I know; Boys & their toys.![]()
