Another workbench. Now that I've relocated the Pollard drill, I've been able to make a small, (3' wide), bench, to fit into the spot that was taking previously, so now I have a workbench next to the lathe.

Thanks to a glowing recommendation from Rannsachair I invested heavily ,for me , in a quick change tool post which required another simple lathe and tig job on a piece of innocent ms bar.

Spent several hours setting up the side boards to Alisons Bonsai benches & struggled considerably today . Cold and slightly damp I kicked it into touch , tiedied away my tools and stuff ,on the final walk round the area realised I've only gone & put rear board on the front of the bench. So pleased I discovered it before I do all 24 mtrs of boarding bench

At least I've worked out a system that works well and thank my lucky stars that the staging's were CNC milled and swaged all to the same distances and dimensions . Just have to cut & mill to a precise size 44 noggings of Delrin 1.44 " x 1.14 " to fit in the hollow rungs to mount the boards .

Replaced the doors on my car today
Now I'll have to put filler on the dents because the dent puller didn't work
Disassembly them ,prep and paint
+ Had a nice Easter with my family,my friends and my nephews

Replaced the LPG tank at home.
I'll probably going to have a very dangerous discussion with the guy replaced it last time.
The valve was completely open .
The regulator wasn't thigh
Plus he didn't remove the old gasket prior to put the new one

Finally got the machine running, Friday was holiday, so went down to neighbors shop and sheared up a bunch of slats for the table.
I made a video of it running, but it's too large to post here.
It's a 5' x 10' sized table.

Started the awful process of resoling my first two pairs of climbing shoes, again. 4th time, as they are just far more comfortable than the newer pairs. The cloth/cardboard/felt lining is not looking too great but will get a cloth and rubber patch.

a rack to hold the kayaks, the rusty one was on a year and a fuel tank I started for a trike that will probably end up in the scrap bin as the guy blacked out on his way home from my house and may have his licence taken of him

Thank you. No fancy metalwork, obviously, but I sprayed in block colours and it looked awful.
So, ground it back, and that gave me inspiration for a pastel type of effect.
Cue airbrush, upwards and onwards.
Fingers crossed for the lacquer holding form.

If following his blackout he's seen a GP or a consultant, he'll have been told that he's obliged to inform the DVLA, an automatic 6 month medical driving ban will follow and he'll be asked to surrender his licence. The cause of his blackout and the treatment he receives will be reflected in how soon he can reapply for his licence.

Replacement quill spring retainer/adjuster thing for my Arboga drill. The original part was aluminium and had seized up on the cast iron drill. The replacement was made from steel - the column of a scrapped Elliott drill press.
