Neither of you will be able to get to the back side of your fence to paint or whatever you finish it with.

The rotten fence is only just holding together, and won't be there on after mines finished.
I screwed it back together temporarily (to keep next-doors yapping mutt in) to enable me to have time to build my new one.
It's also tanalised timber, and I've slathered it in Creocote during assembly, & am capping it.... so it might see me out (& it's a racing cert it'll see the neighbour out) - then hopefully any new neighbour will be half-decent.

No. Her son built the old fence years ago.... and built it well inside the boundary (where it was easy to fix and put up I think).
It's made it convenient in that I'm able to build the new one snack on the boundary line.
(She's that obnoxious that I'm careful to give her no excuse to b1tch. There's an old concrete fence post from when the houses were built... & rather than remove it I've used it as a mount for the corner as a proof that the fence is smack on the boundary. My paling/cladding will fly over the concrete thing on my side to cover it for aesthetics).

Do you have a B&M nearish? I found their organiser cases when I was looking and they’re quite good. For the price.

Not as good as Lidl but I needed light weight (they live in truck), and accessibility if when I bust them

Quite like their organisers too. I believe @bigegg also has a good few of them.

My issue is that the Lidl ones are better but as I made a rack system to hold them in the truck I needed something I can get as and when I need and stays the same. Lidl ones only come round twice a year and they’re alway different.

Yep, I went to get 3 stainless wood screws in the garage just now and knocked 3 different boxes of screws off a shelf above.

Been there, done that. On the plus side, during the sorting process I rediscovered a number of useful items that I'd forgotten I had.

I have some of the Stanley boxes, & not overly fond of them for similar reasons. Fine for getting lugged about, used on site etc., but for home/workshop storage, just a tad bulky & clunky.

Yep, same here. I cut a bit of CHS for @Kram . Having a tidy up found another bit exactly the same size I'd forgotten I had.

I blame my age.

When I was sparking I always used the Raaco storage stuff, perfect for what I needed and stood up to the abuse, the ones I have now must be 20 years old

Can't tell by the size of they'll be suitable, but takeaways use a similar tray.
Costco (amongst other places) sell them in packs of 100 - with lids

If you mean the wall organiser tray things, they are excellent for small stuff,.taps, dies etc. Two of them have sorted out most of my small item storage problems. Black frame thing with pull out clear trays, mine are from aldi, this sort of thing.

Poundland and iceland do them. Only complaint is the excessive packaging on individually wrapped,tiny cakes. Quite a bit bigger than takeaway boxes etc.. I got one with both my spray guns and all related bits inside.
