Marmite and Bovril, every morning on Toast
Bovril, absolutely. Marmite's okay, but I wouldn't buy it when Bovril is SO much better.

Given a 5 litre container of it with a spray bottle about 15 years ago, still got most of it left. When there is nothing except WD40 in a service station and the bike ( Italian!) decides it doesn't like rain, there's no option but to use the stuff ( it worked too )
me too...ideal for when ime drilling on the lathe and get the straw right into a blind hole, good for clearing the swarf fasterI use WD40 as a cutting fluid on Aluminium both on the lathe and the mill. I also use it tapping said material and on brass if it is getting a little squeaky
WD40's good for cleaning the bath.
Woman hater strikes againIs that so there's less friction as you're pushing the missus underwater?

WD-40.
Still not sure why people use it, it's useless. It's the best marketing for the worst product. Terrible lubricant, terrible penetrant, terrible in general. I use 3-in-1 or "canned heat" + candle wax, they work just fine.
I have elasticated belts from Snickers Workwear. They're the best, so comfy. And best of all, they still fit after lunch!
Correct. I have Snickers trousers. May contain nuts.
Yes I would reckon the one you got in the past was made of better better more substantial materials. Example, the flexible hose did that white crease thing just getting it out of the box. Disposal Ad Blue hoses feel more durable thank this. Parkside make some pretty OK DIY stuff, this is not one of them IMHO.Not really, it would appear.... But we digress.....
@Gragson Oddly enough, I have one of the vacuum's which I've had for donkey's years and which has coped with everything I've used it for, including swarf from the lathe and chippings off the mill [never used for liquids though]. Mine must be from the first incarnation while yours could be from the 'redesigned to be cheaper to produce' era?
Really, I've got a set and they are ****** awesome, super sharp, maybe too sharpErbauer drill bits,so blunt they won't drill through 1/8 ali.
However I don't mind a dominos pizza.
It's good for machining aluminium and for scotchbriting rusty stuffWD-40.

It's also good on car plastics for making polish stains disappearWD40 is not bad as a water dispersant but others are better. GT85 for example.
WD is widely used on ships etc for cleaning paintwork. It gets greasy finger marks etc off nicely. That’s about all it’s good for.
Used them for as long as i can remember.... 15 years? And never had it happenI've used mine a lot, particularly as grips for ripping up the lino in aircraft galleys (it's very stuck down) and never once has this happened to me.
not so much if my missus wears them.
I don't get the wd40 bashing thing... its a perfectly adequate light lube if used within its known capability.... I also like it for covering machines over winter to keep surface rust at bay.
Exactly what I keep it for.I use WD40 as a cutting fluid on Aluminium both on the lathe and the mill. I also use it tapping said material and on brass if it is getting a little squeaky
