if you have runout on a drill press, you'll know all about it if you use a large bit. Anything over half an inch and it won't be able to overcome the error by flexing. Doesn't matter for small bits or thinner material but the whole point of having a big stiff drill is to be able to drill large holes accurately in thick material.
If the bit is running out by 7 thou, your hole could end up 14 thou oversize with a large stiff bit acting like a mill and taking a side cut. This really only applies to large stiff drilling platforms but again, that's the entire point of this thread!

OK I will give you an example
A crankshaft, all the journals will be parallel but the conrod journals will be offset to the bearing journals
