Left foot braking or more technically cadence braking is used quite a lot when tractions lost. Used it a lot in the Defender as they're really only 2 wheel drive when it comes down to it. That is until I had the rear locker fitted now it just walks up everything.
Just a primitive form of traction control.

		 ) with a empty skip,  as the M62 was blocked and was having difficulty, until I lifted the skip and hung it over the trailer on the arms  at the back that gave me more traction, even though it was only half a ton, but out on the arms made it more weight on the rear axle  and less on the front that and throwing the difflock in and out  got me home, until I reversed in the drive and as I live on a VERY slight hill it skidded sideways and I knocked corner part of the slate house name off the drive wall
