Stubby gas lens part number

Does anyone have the part number for a 17/18/26 stubby gas lens in 1/8 bore, and the collet to go with? My stubby kit only goes up to 2.4mm and I use 1/8 tugstens a lot, albeit in a 20 torch. I have a nice ck 18 coming and would like to get a 1/8 stubby gas lens for it.

What current does the 18 allow you to weld at Hugh. You planning on doing some big stuff.

What is the difference between Series 3 and 4. Is a CK 18 3 series.

I am just starting to get all my tig bits together again and work out what i need, i don't know if its just me but the different makes and interchangeability must be one of the most confusing subjects.

I was just looking for bits for a big weldcraft watercooled torch.

I'm not clued up on my series 3 or 4 etc.
Wp9 is gas cooled wp20 water cooled (same consumables used)
Wp17 and 18 the same but with bigger current coping ability, bigger torches and consumables.

Was just looking on the rapid welding site today and it lists:-

9 & 20 as series 2 and
17,18 and 26 as series 3.

Think i roughly know what i need to get, wish i had a decent local supplier for this sort of thing.

Then to confuse things even more i was looking at Pyrex cups and gas savers.
Perhaps i should wait a while and have a few days down on the coast and pop in to see Jim.

Rapid are local imo. You'll get your quote within a few mins and your item always arrives next day.

350a I think, in the same size as a 17/26 head. Quite a lot of 1/4 and 8mm comes through the door, and the wp18 was so cheap I had to buy it. I'm planning to get a 300a max machine this time round.

I like to use a 3.2 with the end tapered down at a gentle angle to around 2.4mm, then put a radius on the end of the taper, not so much a ball as a radius. I run my 2.4's the same, neck them down to 1.6 and put a rad on the end. I only ever use the shallowest angle setting on my tungsten grinder.

Sounds like you and prep our AC tungstens in a similar manner.
I put a long taper down them then on the end I put a shallow angle. I've played with various preps etc and I have found this the best for even balling of any size. I don't put flats on them any more now
