I'd be suprised if it's that special.....prob the same as used fo DC systems on boats and caravans.....
they'll just use whats out there regardless of AC or DC.....
I used a DC rated heat switch to control my solar water heater, house in Frogland....

Normally closed. It might ( probably did) have got 240 volts up it's jacksey last night while I was arrising around with it
I was tired
It was playing up last year so I took it off and gave it a blast from my compressor that seemed to revive it.
To be honest I think I've also fried the PCB...
The sodding toaster went wrong at the weekend too

Reminds me of the PCB on the pressure switch of our works compressor, it failed so my boss ordered a replacement. When it arrived it looked exactly like the old one so I fitted it but when I put the power on the magic smoke escaped. Checking the part numbers it was a 24 VDC version and I'd just put 240 VAC into it

Thanks for the link, unfortunately they are different boards. My pump is from 2006 and as far as I can see Stuart Turner's spare parts are for the 2008 on pumps.
I might try a phone call tomorrow.
I have done a bit more testing and the pressure switch seems ok when a small amount of air is applied to it, it opens and closes repeatedly.
Linking out the S1 terminals should start the pump but doesn't so I'm pretty sure it's the pcb.
I've found one on Ebay from a really helpful guy so will order this and see what happens...
