Is the wire actually feeding? A knurled roller maybe preferable though not necessarily needed.

Not really, the wire will feed if I press the wire feed button, but not when I pull the trigger.

Unplug the torch and put a meter across the electrical pins and that should tell you whether it's the trigger or not.

Can you hear the wire feed motor/see the wire roller spinning/turning when you hit the torch trigger? Turn the wire feed right up. The button on the panel will spew out wire at a set and completely different speed.

Hey guys,

I got it working!! To be honest I'm not sure what I done differently this time but I managed to actually get it to weld. Now I'm waiting for the gas so I don't have to use the flux core and also some thicker material to practice with. Thank you for all your help, it's much appreciated
