Howdy all.
I've got myself a nice 1970 240z project, its a left hooker from Arizona so its all original still
I might have made a mistake though on stripping it down....
I've been stripping the engine bay, there's loads of brackets so I'm having real trouble getting it back to clean metal.
From this...
to this...
How bare to I need to get the metal? there's so many little bits where the original paint doesn't want to budge
I've also put some U-pol etch primer on stripped bits to help protect.... Am I better of leaving it bare until its on a spit so I can zinc primer it? I've some rust inhibiting zinc primer.
My plan is to repaint the whole car, inside and out with cellulose(after a few bits of welding here and there.
Can you experienced bunch steer me in the right direction?
