strip and clean disk

just been to aldi, atm they have their grinding attatchments one pack has- a stip and clean disk and a diamond powder disk, another has 2 flap disks and 2 wire brush disks there only 6.99 a pack so worth a punt for the occasional user surely?

oh, and they have their normal grinding and cutting discs too

i bought 2 packs of 16 disks the other day. think they were 0.8mm stainless ones. 3.99 a pack. should last a while. might get a couple more next time i go too

The thin cutting discs i`m using at the moment are Dronco`s as well, better than others i`ve tried, but far from cheap.

So what's true value for money then, something that's cheap at £3.99 & doesn't last two minutes, or something that costs £9.99 but keeps on going??

Think I paid around 11 quid for the tin of Droncos, by far from cheap I was comparing to other premium brands, but then, it was a saturday, i was in need and buying in a smaller quantity. I`d get more the same, in bulk, but for 4 quid it`d be worth a punt on the cheapos, if they don`t self distruct.

I have bought these Aldi thin cutting discs before, and while they are cheap do not last anywhere near as long as the ones bought at B.O.C. also wear safety specs as there is quite a lot of metal and disintergrating disc flying about. the price is right but unfortunatley the discs are made down to that price. I'ts worth giving them a try and decide for your self.

there like a flap disk cleaner up thingy do daa arent they. cheque is in the hands of royal mail at the minute. should be with you in the next month or so. lol.
i know the disks arent going to be perfect but thats why i bought two packs. they will be fine for me mot work that i am getting snowed under with at the minute.
