another vote for wera hammer-thru screwdrivers. If you need one big "beater" screwdriver then get something like a facom protwist shock.

The last CK screwdrivers I bought were self shortening, the tips snapped off as soon as I tried to tighten up a screw! There Allan keys are better, guaranteed not to damage a cap head, the toffee they are made from yealds at finger tip pressure!

I can second this opinion on CK. They're not half as good as the Aldi ones I've replaced them with. They (CK) came highly recommended and I've found them to be rubbish.

I endorse the Aldi Workzone German made screwdriver sets .

I needed a 6 mm round bar several mm long to make the key/ lugs on a home made socket plug to wind up or down the locking leg devices on the caravan steady legs , couldn't find anything till I opened the top drawer of my big tool cabinet where I saw an old little used Aldi red handled pound on the 14 mm head cap Philips screw drive with a precise 6 mm shaft .
I cut off what I needed with an angle grinder & ended up making two of the steady lock key devices one to keep in th tow car tool pocket and one to keep in the heavy duty power drill case that we use to raise & lower the steady legs when out in the caravan .

The handle with about an inch & a half of shaft still on it stayed in the top drawer for a couple of years till last Dec when I found I needed some strips of hard plastic to make two 4 mm pins on my lathe
I decide that cutting off the rest of the plastic handle off would be a good idea as it would give me the material for my pins
When I cut the handle plastic off the 14 mm steel end cap was shown to be set on a 1/4 hexagonal ground to size forging at the top of shaft .

Even in the vice it took some brute force to get the hexagonal 14 mm cap off the shaft .. indicating they are pretty well made . CK stuff that was supposed to be knockable have shattered many times or the tips have sheared off under just hand pressure I ended up binning them .
I've obtained another set of these knockable Aldi screwdrivers for the to be kept in the caravan tool kit , they're just as strong as the red set I'd cut up .
I was able to wind out eight 150 mm long decking screws ( using the right screwdriver and a socket on a speed brace ) that had been in wet wood for over four years without even burring the Pozi slots & put them back in once I'd done the little job I'd taken them out to get access to .

Those facom protwist shock look decent.

I’ve been looking at their impact driver & 5/16 impact bit set. Bloody expensive though!

I bought the Facom 1/2" impact driver and 5/16 hex bit set... i can 100% say it's worth it. If you look around you can get them for a decent price. But in reality it's priceless. I reach for it whenever i'm in danger of rounding screws or hex bits or anything that really needs "finessing". Lost count of the fasteners I've saved just because I had the right tool.
Only thing I would say is steer clear of the Teng 5/16" impact bits.... I bought a set and went through the flat head ends like they were made of chocolate.
