Not so modern!
When I took my car test in the 80s the examiner commented "you ride a bike" due to my road positioning when overtaking parked cars and leaving plenty of space for them to fling the car door open without looking.

I had similar, I had my bike licence a few years before learning to drive a car, on my first lesson my instructor told me I was sometimes too near the centre line (where I would position my bike) and only using the door mirrors instead of the rear view mirror in the centre as well, on a plus note he told me to put in for my test straight away as I already had road sense and just needed to get used to using different controls.
