I can understand the interest element with the engines, instruments clocks and tank search lights etc. There are fuselage panels and flaps & panels from wings. I wonder who buys them bits? I understand titanium or a titanium alloy is used in areas on some aircraft. Maybe some engineers buy them parts just to obtain the special metals to use on things. Or, are the Pakistan & Indian air force still using Tornados.

If you have a search online you can find quite a lot of furniture made with ex aircraft parts nowadays. I wonder if that's the sort of thing people will use them for if they can get them cheaply enough. Or people who collect that sort of thing.

All of the Tonka's original customers still use it; Tornados are in service with the Luftwaffe, RAF, RSAF and Italian airforce and likely to remain so for a while yet.
