As it's probably not an item of great sentimental value, you've been paid out and the seller is probably an innocent party I'd be tempted to just ignore it and move on.
If it's an antique, one-of-a-kind museum piece then it's different but you'd still have to talk to your insurers.
Tempting perhaps, but supposing someone else had earlier not turned a blind eye - he might not have got burgled in the first place.
