I've been building and racing various oval cars over the years and I've tried to pack in numerous times, but I can't:ashamed:
This is a car I built about a year ago, but it has had some not so nice mods.

These are a budget formula and run a tuned 850cc reliant engine.

people might not think it but that wing makes a hell of a diffrence handling wise @ 60 mph more down force on tires and stop u sliding out on the bends . just open your car door when driving and u can get the idea

^^ If it's pushing you along at 60 mph on a short circuit, that's [almost, unless you're always first :D] plenty fast enough! :clapping:

Ok bare with me on this , when I was a kid in the early 60 s me Dad and his brother used to take me to Stockcar racing at Wimbledon track and I saw stock cars like the cars you saw on the street ( the cars me Dad had) racing . and it was awesome,,, we loved it , that was the whole point of it ..when did that change .... don't get me wrong the car that woody has built is lovely but why is it called a stockcar ?

I have been around stockcars all my life and can honestly say, I don't know? Just natural progression I suppose:dontknow: with later cars being less suitable for racing.

When i was about 20, A local small garage owner and his son built and raced stock cars, Chassis built from chanel and tubing with a humongous american V8, He reckoned his secret to fast cornering was not to have one of the front brakes working, it was piped up but blocked off,
