Stitch weld

Just out of interest when doing a stitch weld would you just drop a stringer or do a weave. I'm asking as below image I've weaved most of it bar doing a stringer on the stitch welds. What's your thoughts? I'd like to have all the same for conformity but no other reason and find weaving a stitch is hard. A straight stitch just looks "weird" on thicket material IMO.
10mm mild steel, 25.2 volts, 265 amps

Hi john....simple answer for me mostly is Boredom get bored laying stringers so popping down a few weaves. Cosmetically just wondering if others would do a quick weave on a stitch just to conform to my previous weave rather than doing a steiaght stitch. Prob a stupid enough question but question it is lol

Agree weaving is a no no unless going vertical up

thanks lads for the responses. As is said in one post I switch between stringers and weaves due to "boredom" only. Appreciate your input all the same

Just for my education in mig welding can you tell why?

place I work has about 30 welders, about 60-70% off then would drop a weave over a stringer as their preference. I'd be one of the few that prefer laying a stringer UNTIL I get bored then switch to a weave.

When you weave MIG there is a danger you get a large weldpool that runs under the end of the welding wire, the weldpool then absorbs the arc energy instead of this energy going into the parent material. This can often lead to lack of fusion, you also end up putting too much heat into the joint which can also lead to problems.

With MIG you want to travel at a fairly high speed with the wire right on the leading edge of the weldpool
