Hello all, I've been given a ts400 to rebuild that was written off by the repair shop. It was written off due to the time it would take to put it back together but it's a solid saw underneath the scuffs etc so I'm not bothered about putting a few hours into it.
I have removed the pot and piston, and found quite a lot of side to side play in the big end bearing - is this normal? There is a very small amount of up/down play, less than a mm, is this normal as well or should it be tight?
I have a video of the play but can't access any of the websites you can embed from. (Complex situation re company restrictions etc). If anyone wants to see it pm me your phone number or email address and I can ping it through
Thanks in advance
