That line that goes to the crankcase will be the impulse line for the carbs fuel pump as there doesn't look to be one next to the main inlet.
Yes I think that's what it is. It's not a fuel line anyway- this photo shows the fuel tank for clarity. There is only one fuel hose and a vent hose

The other hose does go into the engine crankcase.
As I say that carb in post #39 I'm 99% certain is correct. There are no electronics, the orientation, adjustment screws and both pipe connections all look correct. It has to be it.
Mine came with 2x long bolts for the carb. That carb also has a locating shroud so that makes sense too for fitment. (As there are no studs for it to slide onto)




Which means I belive I know the correct carburettor now.
