The title of the post is referring to John Mills"s most recent Sunday Night Night Cap and outtakes video.

I'm on a ship over Christmas so I was really pleased to see that John did the SNNC even though it was Christmas eve. Watching it is like having a little bit of home where I am.

I second that! I'm not sure if John @doubleboost appreciates how well received his stuff is, particularly when working away from home, his videos helped keep me sane (more or less ) when living abroad in a hotel room.

You didn't offend me. I was working away steadily and that's how long they took. They are 40 mm diameter and 32 mm long with an M12 x 1.75 thread. I see no way in which I could have done it faster. They were made from a 45mm diameter old shackle pin. This is something like EN16 being property class 10.8. Actually a bit better than EN16.

It is a bottle of water in the picture.

I think you can say bell end, as in a bell end, but not bellend as in a bellend. Well find out in a minute.

Re the glass half empty scenario. As an engineer I don't subscribe to the glass half full or half empty philosophy. The glass is simply 50% too large.

I'm not dwelling on it. Just commenting on my own stupidity for saying what I thought was the word again. Now I'm intrigued to know what the word was.
