I have 0.5 L of this for a single job, brush applied. Consistency is like treacle and could do with thinning. I've tried brushing on and it drags. Unable to clean the new brush. Tried xylene, etc. Any idea what thinners will work, other than the official steyer branded one? eBay seller is useless and steyer don't answer the phone. I'm beginning to wonder if Steyer is a one man band with an eBay shop.

Can't really help other than to say I found them very helpful via email. (I was asking awkward questions about small volume custom mixed paints.)
I contacted steyer by email and they sent me a link to their own thinners. IIRC over £20 for a litre, which I don't need with just 500 ml of paint. I decided to brush on as-is, but it was thicker than I like. Seemed ok in the end. I dumped two brushes instead of cleaning them, as this was my cheapest and easiest option. Next time, I'll probably buy a paint that works with white spirit or xylene.
