Hi folks, before I tackle this job, I was wondering would anyone here have any thoughts on the best design for secure, steel pedestrian door for my workshop.
Its always good to ask these things I think instead of just going at it – someone always has a bettery idea or way of doing things!
My initial thought was 3’x3’ 5mm angle for the frame, bolted into the wall.
Door: 2x2 box, 2x2 angle for bracing, security hinges, 2mm sheet for the door.
Im very undecided on locking, should I use an integral lock with just a keyhole, or a secure external 5mm box with a padlock up under it?
Any ideas would be great, cheers!!
