right I am about to fabricate a frame to fit the loader of my tractor to carry a pair of 2 ton pallet forks.
So my question is what grade of steel would I use for the pins that carry the weight.
What grade for the bar the forks sit on, its about 12 mm x 50 wide to fit through the eyes on the top of the forks.
My plan is basically a 5 mm wall box section rectangular frame, carry bar fixed at each end and in the middle.
Bottom pins are 32mm diameter, top eye will be double 5mm plate. My normal supplier is offering s275?
