can anyone please give me a rough price on 6 metres of 125x125x6mm box section or the closest size to that, its for a heavy set of 5m wide gates, cheers

Standard length is 7.6M, Nearest size would be 120 x 120 x 6.3 wall (In my book anyway), Cost would be 130 quid (ish) a length plus vat. Try a friendly fabber - see if they will sell you just what you need??

I noticed scrap steel is now up to 175 quid a tonne round here!!! Go no scrap

Mate took in about 10kg of clean copper and got £45 for it this week

As above, the nearest you will get will be 120x120x6. Id say expect to pay nearer the £150 for a full length.
