in the market for a tipper trailer at the min somthing like something like this http://www.kanetrailers.co.uk/small-dds-trailers-20
anyway
spoke to a major brand name manufacturer in the north of Ireland who says mine is dear but the steel in mine is away better quality than a lesser know manufacturer, the word hardox wasn't mentioned either
is such a thing possible ? trailers are essentially sheet plate cut and welded together, quite sure some of the Pro welders here have manufactured such a trailer in their time- are there different grades of steel you can buy for such a job ?
would have thought all steel used in trailer manufacture would be the same grade, simple mild steel, same grade as used to manufacture channel iron or angle iron that I buy from local hardware store
anyone ever work with a trailer manufacturing company shed any light on this ?
