steel framed shed

Ive made the frame for a shed including a steel framed floor, out of steel hollow sections. It measures approx 2.5m x 3.2m x 2.25m high. Ive a misfit PVC door and a large window for it.
Can anyone point me at a guide for the best / simplest techniques and material;s for cladding it inside and out in timber and
for roofing it?

Depends what it’s for, just for storing rusty ****e, or somewhere nice to work, store your prized triumph.
I came to this forum via another member, we specialise in building bespoke quality houses, so I can point you in the right direction once we have a plan on what it’s use is.
Don’t take it home yet unless you have wedding equipment there, as you might need to add a few more uprights and other stuff.

sorry to say not enough strength in a few factors

dosnt have enough supports down the sides or the rear to support your clading

the same also goes for the roof should be 4" or like your front piece, the 4" being like pallet racking support

as goes for cladding it id choose the option of fitting a fascia onto the steel first then ive got something to screw too instead of a load of holes on the metal

note fit the uprights at 2400 length or at 1200 the size of an 8x4 plyboard or osb sheet

if those steel posts are 2" box section the 1"-1 1/2" fascia each side of inside and outside will allow you to fit insulation in the shed

and you will hate that window as it robs it of using a good worktop infront of it

if u go insulated steel roofing it will self support over that distance ...
u'd only need more support if it's in a very windy situation.....
Personally I go insulated steel panels all round...
they have a white finish inside, meaning more light....easy / fast to get finished....
plus maintainenece free fo 25 years....
another plus if u want to increas the size the panels interlock meaning a seamless join....

it ll be used as a general purpose man cave/ workspace/ hangout / yoga ( mmm )
and the photo shows just the bear bones, i know it ll need some more bracing mainly to carry the cladding.

You need to remove the wheels or upgrade them the capacity isn't that high...

Mind you thinking about it, many years ago I belonged to West Thurrock Power Stations Sports and Social club, rumour had it that the club house/hall had a caster wheel at each corner, so it was classed as a portable building for planning reasons.......
