My googlefu is failing me today.
I've got an idea, which would involve shaping ~200mm square bits of 5mm thick steel/stainless steel into a shallow(ish) dish/bowl with a max depth of 20mm.
To see if this idea is plausible, I'm trying to figure out the forces that would be involved, but I'm struggling to find anything on how to calculate the forces, or even a rough chart to give some ballpark forces.
My guess is it's not likely to be that feasible for the potential money involved, and that it would likely need heat, but I'd like to see some figures before writing the idea off.
So does anybody know where to find out this kind of information?
